I found the answer to this issue for windows 7 in an AD environment with group policy. I belive this issue relates to the user not having access to the directory 'c:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files' what I don't understand is why it is trying to copy the file 'RSClientPrint-x86.inf' when it already exists. Any ideas? This prompt happens every single time a user clicks the print icon in the RS web interface. If you click yes the report can then be printed correctly. 'Do you want to continue Setup without copying this file? If you then click cancel you get the following prompt 'An error occured while copying file RSClientPrint-x86.infĬannot copy file to destination directory On windows 7 machines (haven't tested XP or Vista) we get the following error for non admin users.
I copy the contents of the RSClientPrint-x86.cab or RSClientPrint-圆4.cab to 'c:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files' at startup and registers the dll 'rsclientprint.dll' or 'rsclientprint64.dll' I have followed instructions online on how to deploy the active x control. I am having a problem installing RSClientPrint.
